Please complete this form to apply for funding under the Kickstart Scheme. You can use one form to apply for multiple job placements in your organisation. Aspire Skills Ltd will submit applications in batches to the Department for Work & Pensions who will make a final decision on each application.

By creating a Kickstart Scheme job placement, you are helping young people who are at risk of being unemployed in the long term. Please explain how your organisation will support the long term employability of the young people taking the placement? This may include help with basic work skills (such as communication and teamwork) or support with finding long term work (such as CV and interview skills).

Any young people you employ after successfully applying for funding via the Kickstart Scheme through Aspire Skills Ltd, will be eligible for our exclusive Kickstart Training Academy which will provide training to develop their skills and experience. Kickstart Training Academy will help you meet your training and skills obligations to the young person you employ under the Kickstart Scheme. Please confirm whether you will support your placement(s) to access this support?

Job placements created by your organisation must be specifically for the Kickstart Scheme. They must be jobs which would not exist without Government funding, must not replace existing or planned vacancies and must not cause existing employees/contractors to lose or reduce their employment. Please explain how your organisation meets these criteria

I confirm that the job placement(s) will be for 6 months and for at least 25 hours a week.

I confirm that the job placement(s) will pay at least the National Minimum Wage through PAYE, plus employers National Insurance and pension contributions.

I confirm that my organisation will provide support for young people to help them get work after they finish their Kickstart Scheme job both directly and inpartnership with Aspire Skills Ltd.

I confirm that the job placement(s) will be funded by the Kickstart Scheme grant and would not exist without this funding.

I confirm that the job placement(s) will not replace existing or planned jobs and will not cause existing employees/contractors to lose or reduce their employment in my organisation.

I confirm that I have not applied for these job placements through any other Kickstart Scheme representative.

I consent to Aspire Skills Ltd collecting and processing the personal data provided for the purposes of administering the Kickstart Scheme application, in line with the Data Protection Act. This will include sharing data with the Department for Work & Pensions.
